 |

|
there are many before who have left us by
the rainbow bridge, and others will follow too. this page is
dedicated for the memory of our friends who are gone from us -
a page of grief but also of tenderness, hope and thankfulness
for the years they have accompanied us.

On friday august 18th 2006 we had to
let go our beloved Rapunzel (Ch. Baffy v. Badener Berg) over the rainbow bridge. 15 years she gave us
living with her. She was our very first NFO and our sunshine
and rambunctiousness. In her younger years
she run over rough and smooth in our flat. several times she
escaped from our outside run and was loving her short freedom
moments. we were worried a lot about her as a A-road is passing
in front of our house. she only had one litter with beautiful
kittens. as she looked absolutely not like a NFO we neutered
her afterwards. For years after this she nevertheless cared
about thhe kittens of the other cats and even seemed to
give milk when the real mothers stopped caring. we never would
have a thought about giving her away we always have loved
her. she had a good life with us and we are happy that she had
the chance to be with us so long - it is never long enough, and
also its everytime the wrong season. but the time we had
together nobody can take away from us - thank you, Punzi, for
all the love you have given us. you will remain in our hearts.
after the death of Lanchi and MiekMiek several weeks ago we
weer comforted to have still our old lady with us - now she is
also away, and that is so mournful and it hurts a lot. to
loose three beloved animals in such a short time is hard to
cope with for us humans - our other cats will help us and
comfort us.

The sun shines bright and warm as for great
new events. In our hearts there is only bitterness, and
uncounted tears have been weeped. our beloved Bina
Florina vom Wunderbaum we had to let pass
to the other world. MiekMiek (her name with us) - yesterday
still on the roof of our little cabin in the free run, the
sunbeam warming her up and caressing her. calling her she came
tipsy and for smooching. today her movements were slow, her
breath shallow and raspy. the metastases of her mammary cancer
had already found their ways into the lung, we had to help her
to her last way over the rainbow bridge. our heart hurts.
MiekMiek was one of our first cats - she was the second one of
our own cattery we kept, and our first Euro Champion for which
we even took a flight to estonia. she was an excellent loving
catmama. after two litters she had a good and long life als
neuter until her death with 13 years at july 15th, 2006.
selfconfident and soverain in her behaviour. she was totally
integrated and recognized in the cat group, full of love to her
companions and absolutely fixed on humans. the bed was her own,
and we were allowed also to sleep there. she was always and
everywhere present. we had such a good long time together and
far too short when we look back now. we know, the sorrow will
fade and the remembering of our beloved girl will stay.
nevertheless, being totally honest - i am so desperate and so
furious. i could cry to the universe: give back my MiekMiek -
everything else my education forbids to me, but i also know
that i have to let loose MiekMiek so that she finds her
quietness. good bye, my beloved girl.

our beloved girl GIC Avalanche
vom Wunderbaum, called Lanchi, had to pass
the rainbow bridge on monday, june 19th, 2006, at the age
of 13 on stomach cancer. she was a child out of our first
litter, she was a female who was respected by all other cats in
our household. she never had own babys; as neuter she was
integrated with our group of males on a 60 sqm flat, there she
felt good. she became best friend and playmate of Jazzy (EC
Effaniffenable). As Jazzy is able to open doors, she used this
ability made an excursion now and then in the greens
roundabout and was then up to 9 hours on the run - there helped
no calling and rattling with the cheese rollies - the fenced
free run was not enough for her. when she wanted to come back
she sat on the terrace and meowed. she was a dazzling
personality with a lot of rough edges, something special. she
would have had the chance as cat to survive in the wild. she
gave us her whole love, and for this we are thankful and it
made us happy.
we thank the fate for the good times we
were to have. good bye, our beloved girl, you will find your
way in the other world. our thoughts stay with you. We love
you, Lanchi.
